So, how can noise control be implemented for steam turbine generator sets? Solutions include using steam turbine enclosures, steam turbine soundproofing (acoustic) enclosures, insulation enclosure covers, and steam turbine cosmetic panels. I. Issues to Consider for Steam Turbine Noise Control

1. Soundproofing: Select appropriate soundproof panels, soundproof doors, and accessories to ensure the steam turbine soundproof enclosure meets noise control requirements.

2. Ventilation: Gas turbines are significant heat sources. When adding a soundproof enclosure, consider installing a ventilation system to expel heat outdoors. The ventilation system should be equipped with electrical control devices to monitor its operational status.

3. Ventilation Noise: After installing the ventilation system, consider the impact of fan noise on the environment.

4. Lighting: To facilitate maintenance personnel in performing routine inspections inside the enclosure, the enclosure must be equipped with lighting and emergency lighting systems.

5. Explosion-Proof: The interior of the steam turbine enclosure, soundproof acoustic enclosure, insulation enclosure cover, and steam turbine cosmetic panel enclosure is classified as Zone 2. Electrical equipment used inside the soundproof enclosure and ventilation system must have explosion-proof capabilities.

II. Overall Quality Requirements for Steam Turbine Enclosure Projects

1. After project completion, the overall quality of the steam turbine enclosure, steam turbine soundproof (acoustic) enclosure, insulation enclosure cover, and steam turbine cosmetic panel must comply with relevant national standards, industry standards, or specifications, and meet the requirements agreed upon in this agreement.

2. When the ambient temperature does not exceed 25°C, the enclosure temperature should not exceed 50°C. When the ambient temperature exceeds 25°C, the temperature difference between the outer surface and the ambient temperature should not exceed 25°C.

3. Corrosion resistance must comply with the GB2086-2006 standard, ensuring no discoloration or deformation.

4. The steam turbine enclosure, steam turbine soundproof (acoustic) enclosure, insulation enclosure cover, and steam turbine cosmetic panel must be installed firmly and reliably.

5. The layout must be reasonable, tight, neat, and aesthetically pleasing.

6. Noise must be significantly reduced, with at least a 6 dB reduction after installation.

7. Made of cold-rolled steel plate: The enclosure dimensions are 12000mm × 9000mm × 3000mm (customizable). The main columns and beam framework of the enclosure are constructed from rectangular section steel, connected with high-strength bolts, and feature an assembled structure. The design of the main columns and beam framework must avoid the bearing seats of the steam turbine generator set to prevent interference with bearing maintenance. The four walls of the enclosure are assembled from steel structure soundproof acoustic panels, with the outer layer made of cold-rolled steel plate no less than 1.5mm thick and the inner layer made of 1.0mm cold-rolled steel plate.

8. The steam turbine enclosure, steam turbine soundproof (acoustic) enclosure, insulation enclosure cover, and steam turbine cosmetic panel must include 4 soundproof doors with observation windows. The doors must open flexibly and close tightly.

9. The lower part of the four walls of the enclosure must have an appropriate number of air inlets (soundproof ventilation openings, with the area determined by the bidder).

10. The top of the steam turbine enclosure must be made of perforated plate, with lifting rings installed for easy hoisting. Additionally, 6 low-noise fans must be installed for forced ventilation and heat dissipation. The interior must be equipped with a full set of LED lighting facilities to facilitate inspections by personnel inside the cosmetic panel enclosure.

11. The internal space and door positions of the steam turbine enclosure, steam turbine soundproof (acoustic) enclosure, insulation enclosure cover, and steam turbine cosmetic panel must be reasonably designed to ensure that cosmetic panel components do not come into contact with the equipment.

12. The enclosure must be easy to disassemble and assemble, with reasonably预留ed lifting rings and holes. The structural strength of individual cosmetic panels must meet the requirements for hoisting and stacking without deformation. The needs of major and minor maintenance must be fully considered to minimize the workload of disassembling and assembling cosmetic panels during major maintenance.

13. The surface paint color of the enclosure must be uniform light gray. The surface must be electrostatically sprayed and cured at high temperatures.

14. The steam turbine enclosure, steam turbine soundproof (acoustic) enclosure, insulation enclosure cover, and steam turbine cosmetic panel must have vibration damping measures at the contact points with the ground to reduce vibration caused by foundation movement.

15. The steam turbine enclosure, steam turbine soundproof (acoustic) enclosure, insulation enclosure cover, and steam turbine cosmetic panel must be factory-processed and ready for direct on-site installation. On-site fabrication is not allowed, and hot work is prohibited on-site.
